Rubens de la Corte
 (guitarist for Eliane Elias)

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bossa Nova, singer Eliane Elias brought the lush sounds of her newest album, "Bossa Nova Stories", to the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Included in her band is guitarist and Godin artist Rubens de la Corte with his Multiac Grand Concert nylon string.

Rubens and Eliane played to a receptive full house at Place Des Arts on Friday July 3rd.

Lionel Loueke

Blue Note records recording artist Lionel Loueke and his Trio played an amazing set in the intimate setting of L'Astral concert hall on Sunday July 5th in support of his recent release called "Karibu". Playing his Godin Multiac Grand Concert Ambiance Duet, Lionel repeatedly wowed his audience.

Corey Diabo
(guitarist for Jonas)

Montreal Blues Rocker, Jonas, performed two electrifying sets on Friday July 3rd called "Back to Blues" during this years festival. His band includes the incredible & fiery guitar work of Corey Diabo, who with his Godin Passion RG-3, thrilled the crowd with his playing.

Peppino D'Agostino
Acoustic guitar master and Godin artist Peppino D'Agostino has been a long time Seagull acoustic player. His Seagull Peppino D'Agostino Signature model recently was honored with the award for "Best acoustic guitar" from Acoustic Guitar Magazine. To his surprise Peppino was presented with the award by some of the Godin Guitar Family before his fantastic performance at Place Des Arts on July 3rd.

Adam Popowitz
(guitarist for Pacifika)

Guitarist Adam Popowitz showcased his melodic, textured playing style during Pacifika's magnificent set at Club Soda on July 6th, in support of their latest album "Asunción".

This is a band to watch out for, delivering a mixture of genres that come together in a sultry, world, ambient, pop form.
